The Publisher.Social dashboard was initially created to manage our own social media accounts for Standoutbooks.com. We’re a publishing services company serving traditional publishers, independent publishers as well as both traditionally published and self-published authors world-wide.
It turned out to be more useful than we had imagined and we started rolling it out to our authors to use, as well as to the publishing companies that we work with.
Everyone who used it absolutely loved it, but we started getting more and more requests for help creating and scheduling content.
So we hired more members onto our own content creation team and started a social media content writing service which we combined with our dashboard and spun off into Publishers.Social.
At Standoutbooks, we’re always looking for ways to give back to the publishing community. That’s why we publish the word count equivalent of over 4 books of in-depth publishing advice for free every year. It was this thinking that drove our decision to make the basic dashboard available to authors and publishers for free.
We want it to become a tool that you can use to manage your own social media content for your author profiles or your publishing business, with or without our assistance.
